If you have a clothesline, listen up! If not, then invest in one!!! Did you know that line drying your clothes not only saves quite a bit of energy costs in your utility bill, but it also prolongs the life of the fabrics in your clothing and linens? AND sunshine is a wonderful, natural whitener and brightener! To keep clothes soft when line drying, simply add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle... the scent dissipates in the air, and your laundry is naturally brightened and disinfected as well as softer!

Retro and PROUD OF IT!!!

Want to know what really has me in an uproar today? Well, for once I let a silly little stereotypical male upset me. The Retro Housewife had a link in bloglines today that I just had to check out. OH MY GOODNESS! I am all atwitter with frustration now! So, if you would like to see just how frustrated, go check this out and I think you'll understand why so. Consider yourself warned, though, if you are sensitive to the whole "you think you are so wonderful because you are a housewife but really you are lazy" accusations.... Time to go knead some bread dough and work out this fury!
